A book as a package for perfume

Thanks to Dmitri (Blog Flacon007) who send me this interesting picture.
A nice package for Soap produced by the Brocard firm before the Russian revolution.
The symbol of the book really remains me the innovations of Charlotte Brocard inventing soaps as letter to help the mother at this time teaching their alphabet to children.

The package was not so far to be invented. It becomes the book. A great success also used by the competitors.
I am not able to find the reference in the only catalog (1896) I have from the company. So I can imagine this package invented juste between 1905 to 1917...

Dear Bertrand, it's very pleasant to read your comment to this piece of Brocard's history. In the next weeks I will do a big inventory of my collection and hope to find more interesting objects. I will send you pictures when I find them.

Hello Dmitri,

Great. It would be exiting to discover the part of your collection dedicated to some nice Brocard artefacts.

Always welcome. :-)
Best regards,
